Some items to note:

• 6th grade has 1 1/2 hours for practice (their times are noted in red/yellow to highlight the additional 1/2 hour).
• Don't assume the times on the schedule which are not filled -- are open. We share gyms times with volleyball and girls basketball.
• For those who might be new to the program -- 2 teams share the court. As the year progresses, gives the teams an opportunity to scrimmage at the end of practice.
• Please be courteous to the teams prior to your practice by allowing them their time and for the teams following by exiting on time.

Our league has 2 conferences, Eastern and Western, per grade from 2–6. Each league attempts to match skill sets so all players have an enjoyable experience. The Eastern conference is more competitive than the Western.

The recreational league runs from the beginning of November to the middle of March. Typically, the teams will practice 1 time per week and play games on Saturdays. Weekday practices are scheduled to begin and end somewhere within the 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. time frame. Days and times depend on gym availability. Saturday games begin and end somewhere within the 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. time frame. Practices and games will take place in Hamilton Southeastern school district gyms.

Below are some important dates to remember:

• September 25, 2011 - Rec League Evaluation Day - Noon - 6:00 PM - HSE Auxiliary Gym
  • Noon - 6th grade
  • 1:00 PM - 5th grade
  • 2:00 PM - 4th grade
  • 3:00 PM - 3rd grade
  • 4:00 PM - 2nd grade

• Please arrive at your scheduled time so that the evaluation process can continue as efficiently as possible.
• October 20, 2011 - Coaches Meeting - 6:30 - 8:00 PM - FHS Main Gym
  • Mandatory for all head coaches.

• November 1, 2011 - Practices Begin
